My fellow Graduates,
Today, as a matter of fact, is not the end of our fight. Indeed, it is the beginning of other struggles
waiting for us. We need to be able to cope with overwhelming challenges, especially in the world of
education and sciences. Therefore, my fellow graduates, I encourage you to pursue higher education
at our university.
For those of you who have completed their Diploma Three Programs, Universitas Pancasila invites
you to pursue an Undergraduate Program; for those of you who have completed undergraduate
programs, Universitas Pancasila invites you to pursue Professional Programs and Master’s Programs,
and for those of you who have completed the Master’s Program, Universitas Pancasila also invites
you to pursue Doctoral Programs.
My fellow Graduates,
The younger generation is the heart of a nation's life, and our shared responsibility is to create a
better future for Indonesia. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a trend in various fields, from
business to education and government. As smart graduates, we must not be mere spectators in this
AI revolution. Instead, we must harness the power of AI to improve our capabilities and efficiency at
work. However, we also have to remember that AI is not everything. AI must not deceive us and must
remain creative and innovative human beings. AI is only a tool and cannot replace the human ability
to think critically, communicate well, and solve problems differently.
According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, the number of students graduating from
universities in Indonesia is increasing yearly. It means that competition in the fields of work is getting
tighter and tighter, not only with fellow graduates but even with AI. However, the role of the younger
generation is more than just graduating from university and getting a good job. As a smart Indonesian
young generation, we are more responsible for determining Indonesia’s direction and future. The
increase in fierce competition is not something to be afraid of, but something that we have to face.
Hence, we must continue to upgrade ourselves by having hard and soft skills to meet the demands
of globalization and bring Indonesia to compete globally. It is articulated in the Holy Qur’an, surah
Al-Mujadillah article 11, “Allah will elevate those of you who are faithful, and raise those gifted with
knowledge in rank.”
